Good to know
Questions new clients ask us.
How do I become a new patient?
Just give us a call or fill out our contact form and we'll get your pet set up. For your first visit, plan to arrive a few minutes early so we can get records started. We welcome dogs, cats, and most small pets.
What should I bring to the first appointment?
If you have prior vet records or vaccination history, those are helpful, but don't worry if you don't. Bring your pet in a carrier or on a leash, and jot down any questions or concerns so we make sure to cover everything.
What do I do if my pet has an emergency after hours?
We're open Monday–Friday 8–6 and Saturday 8–12 for urgent sick visits. For after-hours emergencies, we refer clients to the Animal Emergency & Referral Center in Harrisburg. Their number is always available on our voicemail.
Do you accept pet insurance, and what payment methods do you take?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks. We work with most pet insurance plans on a reimbursement basis, and we'll provide itemized records to submit your claim. Ask us about CareCredit for larger procedures.
Ready to schedule your pet's visit?
New patients are always welcome. Reach out and we'll find a time that works, or call and we'll pick up.
